1. Putting your pager into Operation

2. Overview

All operation functions can be carried out with the three keys:

  1. Upper key
  2. Middle key
  3. Lower key
  4. Message icons (see section 4) Select with lower key (3)
  5. Status symbols (see section 5)
  6. Menu icons (see section 6) Select with upper key (1)

3. Standby Mode

If the keys are not used within 16 sec., the pager automatically turns back to standby mode.

6.1 Programming option: Simplified Operation

In simplified operation mode, all menu functions are switched off. The menu functions can however be temporary switched on by pressing the upper (1) and lower (3) keys simultatiously.
The pager will automatically switch back to simplified operation mode:

The above procedure also applies for deleting "Automatic Message File" or "Personal Message File".

The alarm is activated every 24 hours at the time set. Following menu icon appears in standby mode. Remark:

7.1 Volume

Four settings of volume are possible:

short beep
low tone beep
loud tone beep
beep tone increasing from low to high

The beep samples are described in section 7.2.

Programming option: Priority call
Priority calls are urgent and hence the alerting is done with loud beep.
